The Houston Art Car Klub! was formed in the early 90's by a few local artists before the world wide web was commonly used. Our founding members include me, Bryan Taylor, Penny Smith (who coined the name, spelling and punctuation of Houston Art Car Klub!), Harry Leverette, Tom Kennedy, Moira and Tom LaFaver... I bet I'm leaving people out... that will no doubt be pointed out and corrected shortly! I am preceded by David Moore, who took on the role for a few months, and before him was the Reverand Bryan Taylor. Bryan led us all around for many years and now he's taking a break, kinda, and I've taken over. Bryan maintains our email list (if you would like to be on our email list, please contact Bryan via the link on the left on our website). Houston is the art car capital of the world. This is a contagious group of people, and an even more contagious hobby. We have meetings every couple of months and do some fun things together through the year. (Each car independantly owned and operated, HACK! does not own any art cars)
